Description: Hello, I feel the need to write you about a local story.
My name is Eric Leventhal. I went to Sammy’s Camera today to inquire about my camera. I was there for 1 hour. The store happen to have a promotion today with balloons, and reps from various manufactures. I spent most of my time with a rep from a camera company. I had to leave, to take my 20 month twins to the pumpkin patch in Goleta. It started to rain when I got home. I convinced my wife to return to the Sammy’s to buy the item I wanted to purchase. I told her that there was a lot of balloons, and the toddlers would have fun. As we walked in, there was about 75 balloons with “strings”. I handed one to my son, Sam and one to my daughter Lucy. Within 15 seconds, a part time sales associate confronted me and said I could not have those ballons, they were for paying customers, and had to purchase $25.00 or more to keep the balloon. I informed her I was in the store for over an hour just an hour ago, and I was there to purchase an item, and not to worry about it. She told me that my children could NOT keep there balloons. I told her again not to worry and I was going to buy over $25.00 worth of merchandise. Back and forth. Back and forth. Finally my wife told her she would have to take it from him. (FYI, The balloons had a coupon in them, unknown to us). She went in the back and came back with two different colored balloons. Here is the interesting thing. She was ONLY interested in my sons balloon, not my daughters. She got on her knees and asked what his name is? My wife said Sam, and that’s enough. Sam was not giving his orange with a blue string blue up! It was his. At this time I went to speak to my rep and the sales person. After thirty minutes, I purchased $189.00 item (as stated when she started this). She was two feet away from the register when I paid (strange?).
Upon leaving, my wife informed me she was following my son around the store for 30 minutes. Trying her best to get his balloon. Not my daughters balloon. Why? Well, it turns out when I popped the balloon at home, not in the store, there was a $100.00 coupon on any purchase. My daughters balloon had a $5.00 coupon.
I called and asked to speak to the general manager. I then spoke to Richard who “defend” the situation. These balloons are for paying customers, and there are cameras in them. We do not want people just to get a free camera. I told him by CA law, you can not charge for a raffle, sweepstakes, contest, etc. I also told him, this was not my point, but why is your employee harassing a 20 month boy with a balloon for thirty minutes. It made my boy feel very uncomfortable, and not to mention my wife. I told him your employees should not be taking candy from a baby. He told me he already was aware of the situation. Who know there was a $100.00 coupon? Not me.
Strange? If he already knew, and this was not out of the ordinary, how come he did nothing to stop a rogue employee following and harassing my son. He gave me this, “well, look at it our way”, and “I will speak with her”.
He knew the entire story before I called. He and the employee knew the $100.00 coupon was in that balloon. Why else would he have known this story? I also told him by CA law, you can not charge a fee for a choice drawing (this is correct by the state of CA law). He told me the store was owned by lawyers, and they know better than him.
I only write this because I am a father, and why should you take your son or daughter to a neighborhood store and by harassed, lied to, almost stolen from (if they got his balloon, like they tried so hard to). I honestly do know if they run ads with you, and if that is a controversy, I will send it to every paper in every market they have a store. Since it happened to me in SB, I feel the need to have it addressed. Would you want you toddlers balloon aggressively removed from him by an unknown adult? Call it “Sammy, why did you take a child’s balloon”

Description: Worthington Christian Schools (WCS) is an educational ministry of the Grace Brethren Church (GBC) of Columbus, Ohio. It costs approximately $60,000.00 for a student to attend WCS for 14 years for PK-12 (i.e. Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, and grades 1 through 12).
Without ever warning the parents or students, the WCS/GBC administrators knowingly hired admitted and continued to employ accused child molesters as Teachers, Girl's Coaches, and Youth Directors. These administrators clearly understood that these child molesters would be tempted to molest again and that there was indeed a "risk" to literally thousands of WCS students over the years of being molested. WCS/GBC intentionally withheld this crucial information from the unsuspecting WCS parents and students for 10 years till the administrators were finally caught endangering the students and deceiving the parents during the "cover-up" that was discovered. Those child molesters would still be employed at WCS today if the Columbus Dispatch newspaper had not learned of the truth and reported the facts to the unsuspecting WCS parents and students. Refer to the Columbus Dispatch newspaper: Wednesday, October 17, 2007 and the WBNS-10TV story: Tuesday, October 23, 2007 for details.
The list below is of the WCS/GBC administrators who were fully aware of the danger to the students, temptations of the child molesters, deceit against the parents, and the cover-up:

It is important to note that the WCS Assistant Superintendent, Troy McIntosh, claims that he had no idea that child molesters were teaching and coaching students at WCS till the Fall of 2007 (Note: Fall 2007 began on Sunday, September 23). However, it is nearly impossible that he was unaware of this because of the following reasons:
1. The other WCS administrators were aware of both child molesters.
2. Some WCS teachers, staff, parents, and students were aware of at least the admitted child molester.
3. WCS/GBC claimed that there were other teachers and/or staff monitoring the admitted child molester to prevent him from molesting another child.
4. Some WCS parents and students have claimed that there was a "well known rumor" about the admitted child molester.
After being caught, Troy McIntosh informed the Columbus Dispatch newspaper that WCS/GBC "don't apologize" for their decision (Columbus Dispatch: Wednesday, October 17, 2007).
Nearly a week later, Troy McIntosh informed WBNS 10 TV that WCS/GBC "did not regret their decision" (WBNS-10TV: Tuesday, October 23, 2007).
Only after observing reactions of and reading emails from the deceived WCS parents, the WCS/GBC administrators realized they might lose their jobs. So, after they don't apologize and did not regret what they did, they finally claimed to have lots of regrets. However, there was no regret for what they did; only regrets that the parents felt the way they did about it. Then, nearly 6 months later (April 2, 2008), the Executive Pastor and Outgoing Senior Pastor made the following statement:
"If that decision distressed, offended or hurt you, we would like to apologize and ask for your forgiveness."
It should be obvious that at the very least WCS/GBC is guilty of Child Endangerment against the WCS students, is guilty of Fraud against the WCS parents, and worked to Cover-Up those crucial facts. Evidence that each of these crimes was committed is given below using a single example of the applicable publicly available facts:
Child Endangerment:
Occurred for 10 years (1998-2007) with the admitted child molester Dwayne Smith and also occurred for at least 6 years (2002-2007) with the accused (later convicted on January 24, 2008) child molester Jason Crary. WCS/GBC officials acknowledged between one another that there was indeed a "risk" to the students as Executive Pastor Jim Augspurger said on a recording (Columbus Dispatch: Wednesday, October 17):
"We understand that if something happens between Dwayne and a student, we will be big-time liable," "That's a risk we take."
Fraud:
Occurred during the Child Endangerment described above. WCS/GBC used background checks and other means to deceive, confuse, and mislead the parents about the safety of their children. While being fully aware that the students were indeed at "risk" with multiple child molesters, WCS/GBC made claims such as the following:
"His last background check, July 31, 2006 was spotless."
WCS/GBC intentionally misrepresented the truth as they withheld crucial information from the parents. The the parents relied upon the claims made by WCS/GBC and WCS/GBC benefited monetarily from the parents due to those fraudulent claims.
Cover-Up:
Occurred during the Child Endangerment and Fraud described above while WCS/GBC worked to withhold those facts from the parents. Note that both child molesters would still be employed at WCS today if WCS/GBC were not caught endangering and deceiving the unsuspecting students and parents during the "cover-up" as described in the audio recording at the Internet link below: http://members.aol.com/Tim026300/CoverUp.mp3
To address these offenses against the WCS parents who paid WCS for a safe Christian education for their children, WCS parents expect WCS and GBC to immediately terminate employment of all those who were aware of the danger to the students and deceit against the parents. This includes terminating the Assistant Superintendent Troy McIntosh who claims he was completely unaware of the danger and deceit, which is virtually impossible, who has also demonstrated gross incompetence by not investigating the rumors, and who has also demonstrated to be a highly ineffective leader by not being informed or aware of what the other WCS/GBC administrators and some teachers, staff, parents, and students in the school and church knew to be true.

Description: New subdivisions have moved in around Woodedge Village and since then we do not get any service. It is 4:40 today and no carrier. Two days in a row we did not even get any mail. Our mail has been delivered as late as 9:30 in the evenings. Our subdivision is being used for everyones vacation break and that means that we never see the same carrier twice. This has been going on since the first of the year and of course last year also. If I had my choice I would fire all managers at the Willowchase Post Office. This supervisor is not doing a good job. It is not fair that the older subdivision is getting the blunt of the poor service.
Since I moved in this area 13 years ago it is horrible.
Why can't someone higher up do something about this?
A lot of people run businesses out of their homes and need better service. We deserve a regular carrier and not someone who doesn't know what he is doing.

Description: I purchased a home through NASB 2004 October, they sold my loan to Wells Fargo a couple months later, actually Jan of 2005. I received a letter in November 2005 stating I did not have windstorm and hail coverage. I faxed them a copy of my policy and then talked to them to follow up and they said my coverage was INDEED what they were asking for. Case resolved please disregard notice. I asked for a confimation by mail to their acknowledgement of my fax and that we were current on all policies. Today 13 February 2006 I received a letter stating that I did not have this same insurance coverage for windstorm and hail and they purchased a binder with an annual premium of $8299.03. Where do mortgage lenders get off disregarding my time efforts and communication to resolve their concerns and provide proof of what they are asking for? Then to be swept under the rug for what and whose expense?

Description: I had filed a complaint with the main Wal-mart headquarters about one of their items having the price being raised by $1.00 within only a couple of days.I had just bought the same item a few days before.I thought their advertisement was "the low price gurantee,always'.Obviously not in this case.Anway,the local manager called me and gave me the excuse that since the only other discount store hear was no longer selling the action figure now that they could sell the item at the higher price.If i still wanted it bad enough,I would just have to buy it since there was no where else to buy it unless i went out of town.Is that good business practice?I think not.I know within in my home there a 3 of their stores and at any given time you will have 3 differnet prices on most of their items.I dont think they should advertise their slogan like that.Thats all.Thank you.

Description: My sister who is already 64 years and a smoker would like to purchase a package of cigarette from Walmart. The staff of Walmart asked my sister to show her identification. Since my sister forgot to bring her ID, Walmart staff refused to sell my sister the cigarette. My sister then asked her friend with a valid ID to purchace the said item for her. The staff including her manager firmly refused to sell the cigarette. My sister was extremely upset of the incident. What kind of policy do they have? I find this very upsetting and I could imagine the use of power and descrimination used by the staffs of Walmart in this case. My sister has been a smoker for over 40 years and being denied the right to smoke at the brink of her desire could have given a very ill effect on her. I would like a full explantion on this complaint and compensation for the poor service and descriminatory treatment the Walmart staffs did to my sister. .

Description: Sun. July 31, 2005 Went to Walmart Store #2295 in Richmond, Va., to purchase a Tracfone pay as you go prepaid wireless airtime 100 minutes card. The phone was purchased in June 05 and I needed to buy additional minutes. When asking the young lady in the electronics department how the process of adding on additional minutes, she, in an extremely rude manner, told my husband and myself that she wasn't obligated to do anything for us. She said we came in there all the time to have our phone activated, which is not a true statement. Since the initial purchase, this was our first visit to Walmart to purchase additional minutes. We simply needed to know how to activate the additional minutes we had purchased. She had remembered us from our initial purchase of the phone and was openly hostile and insulting giving rude lip service and arrogant and insulting remarks to us. We called for assistance in this matter and the employee that physically came to us, suggested that we contact the Store Manager. The Store Manager or Asst. Manager were not available or so we were told. This young, rude individual, in some form, should be reprimanded. We have been long term patrons of this store and should not have to endure this kind of behavior.

Description: Almost every PC game that I have bought at Walmart has been opened befor I bought it. The bad part about it is costomer service says they don't put games back on the shelf because they only take back defective merchandise. Well excuse me The game I bought today did not have the CD in the box So for $20.00 I got nothing . Now tell me what they do with the games that are returned as defective.I know they put them back on the shelf and sell them. My complaint may as well have not been made. I feel like I am buying used merchandise at Walmart and it is not fair. They did say to come back and exchange it. So now I will be out the gas it costs to go back to the store I bought it at. Walmart is in my opinion loosinf many ,many customers I know of several people in my family alone that have quit shopping at the Walmart Stores. Guess I will be joining them.For a $20 game It will cost me $40 because I already paid $10 for gas and it will cost another $10 to take it back!!!!!!!!!!

He ask a manger to give him his paystub and they told him they couldn't. I was told by Mike Konzs that if I gave two week notice when I left that he would let me come back. But have appied a lot of times and still have not heard from anyone. Mangement do not treat there employee with respect. Description: I been an associate of walmart for 4 years part-time, the store I work at receive the share bonus this year and I didn't receive it and no one can explain why . I even went to the store manager and was told that I will receive it and yet a month has gone and no money i even went to the person over him and was told that he was going to investigate to see why and no answer. I feel as though Walmart has let me down as an employee, and what hurts the most is that there are associate that only been there 2 months and they receive the whole package the full amount.
